Winner of HYROX Competition - 2025

We are thrilled to announce that Mr. Sonam Gurmey, a first-semester student at Manipal College of Nursing, participated in the HYROX Mumbai 2025 event held on September 7, 2025. Organized by Yoska Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd under the HYROX India joint venture in collaboration with HYROX Global, the event took place at the NESCO Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai. This edition attracted over 3,350 participants from more than 50 countries, making it the largest fitness race ever hosted in India.

Competing in the 16–24 age category, Mr. Gurmey secured an impressive 2nd place, finishing 11th overall among 900 global participants. The HYROX format challenged athletes with eight 1-km runs interspersed with functional fitness stations, including SkiErg, Sled Push, Burpee Broad Jumps, Farmers Carry, and Wall Balls.

His remarkable achievement underscores the dedication and resilience of Manipal College of Nursing students in the realm of competitive fitness.
