Guest Lecture on "Trust, Respect and Glory"
As part of fresher’s orientation programme - 2021 a guest lecture on “Trust, Respect and Glory” was organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal on 08 October 2021, between 09.30 am and 10.30 am on Microsoft Teams Platform. Dr Rayan Charles Mathias, Student Counsellor, MAHE, the resource person focused on trust and respect in professional life, how to develop trust and respect, the importance of listening and acknowledging the work done by others. He said to the participants to make decisions based on what’s right, not who you like, live and let live. He emphasized that glory is the fame and admiration that you gain by doing something impressive. He also highlighted that we should live our present life in a proper way so that we need not worry about the future as well as our past life. Around 100 participants benefited from this program.
Mrs Ranjani Palanisamy, Assistant Professor - Senior Scale, Dept. of OBG (N) MCON, MAHE Manipal gave the welcome address and introduced the speaker. Dr Sonia R B D’Souza, Professor & Head, Dept. of OBG (N), MCON, MAHE Manipal, rendered the vote of thanks.
