Webinar on: Building Bridges through Mentorship

Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, in association with Manipal Health Enterprises Private Limited, Bengaluru, successfully organized a webinar titled “Building Bridges through Mentorship” on 13 April 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM via Microsoft Teams.
The webinar aimed to enhance understanding of mentorship as a vital component of professional development, leadership building, and academic–clinical collaboration in nursing. The program was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4 – Quality Education, emphasizing lifelong learning and capacity building among nursing professionals.
The scientific sessions were led by Dr. Anice George, Former Dean and Professor, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, who provided an in‑depth overview of the concept, significance, and evolving role of mentorship in nursing education and practice, and Ms. Anu Baby, Charge Nurse and Lead Research Champion, Manchester Royal Infirmary, UK, who shared practical insights and international perspectives on effective mentorship practices and professional growth.
The webinar witnessed enthusiastic participation from 647 nursing professionals across India, including nursing administrators, clinical educators, ward in‑charges, staff nurses, and undergraduate nursing interns. The sessions were highly interactive, fostering meaningful discussion and professional engagement.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere appreciation to the resource persons, organizers, and participants for their valuable contributions to the successful conduct of the webinar.
