RESEARCH ORIENTATION FOR THE BEGINNERS

Manipal School of Nursing (MSON), MCON, Manipal, organized a session on "Research orientation for the beginners" on June 23, 2026, at 2.00 pm as part of the UG/PG vertical of Pillar 2 (IOE) Exemplary Research and Innovation of Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal. The target audience was Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery students. Dr. Prathibha Kamath, Assistant Professor (Senior Scale), Department of Obstetrical and Gynecological Nursing, MCON, MAHE, Manipal, was the resource person for the session. She highlighted the key elements of research, the required skills, the research cycle, its importance, and pathways for advancing research skills, contributing to SDG4 - Quality Education. A total of 56 participants attended the session, which was coordinated by Ms. Shobha, Assistant Lecturer, MSON.
