The sessions started with details of the externally funded projects. Principal investigators/co-investigators of funded projects have presented the details of their projects. There are a total of 12 externally funded projects currently implemented at Manipal college of Nursing, MAHE Manipal. Session by Dr. Rajeshkrishna Bhandary P, Member Secretary – Institutional Ethics Committee and Assistant Professor at Department of Psychiatry, KH Manipal elaborated on the Newer guidelines for Biomedical & Health Research.

Dr. Judith A Noronha, Associate Dean, Manipal College of Nursing spoke on the best ways to communicate research findings with emphasis on guidelines by ‘Committee on Publication Ethics’.

Dr. Shyamala Hande, Director, Centre for Doctoral studies, MAHE, Manipal addressed the gathering and emphasized on the University Grants Commission Guidelines regarding the registration and completion of PhD. A total of 59 participants including 47 faculty members, six research scholars and six students have participated.
