MCON - SRF Session 2: Referencing style - APA

Manipal College of Nursing - Student Research Forum, MAHE, Manipal, organized the session of the year-long lecture series on ‘Referencing style -APA” on 25th March 2023, from 2-3 pm. The resource person for the session was Mr. Anil Raj, Assistant Professor, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal.

Mr. Anil Raj gave a brief introduction about the topic and demonstrated how to cite from journals and books. He also demonstrated how it can be quoted in the word file as well as in the Mendeley Reference Manager. The students had many doubts regarding the same, which was clarified in the demonstration session.

The session was very informative to the students as their research project is going on and provided a well-appreciated guide for the new researchers to implement in their research projects. A total of 116 participants, including undergraduate & postgraduate students, Ph.D. scholars, and project staff of MCON attended the session. E-certificates were given to all the participants.
