Report on the Guest lecture "Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Patents and design filling"

The Innovations, IPR & Consultancy Vertical of Pillar II: Exemplary Research & Innovation, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, organized the online guest lecture on “Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Patents and design filling” on June 11, 2025 for the undergraduate & postgraduate students, faculty & research scholars. The resource person Dr Bharat N Suryawanshi, Assistant Controller of Patents & Designs, RGNIIPM, Nagpur, deliberated the session and highlighted the various aspects of Intellectual property rights including patents, copyrights & oriented the audience about the requirements for online application of patents, copyrights and design filling. Participants also actively participated in the discussion and appreciated the session. A total of 166 participants attended the online guest lecture. This program has its contribution towards achieving SDG -4 Quality education & SDG-9 – Industry, Innovation and infrastructure.
