Report on Time Management Session

The Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, MCON, Manipal, organized a session on “Time Management” for the 1st Year BSc Nursing students on 7 August 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The session was facilitated by Dr. Toni Bewley, an International Faculty member at MCON and an Honorary Professor at the University of Liverpool, UK.

Dr. Bewley emphasized the importance of effective time management, sleep hygiene, self-care, and maintaining a healthy balance between personal time and academic responsibilities. She also highlighted the need to allocate sufficient time for learning and practice to develop good habits and positive behaviors that contribute to students’ overall well-being and academic success.

A total of 247 BSc Nursing students attended the session and benefited from the practical insights shared.

The session was aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being and SDG 4 – Quality Education.
