SRF Report

Pillar II Exemplary Research and Innovation, along with the Student Research Forum of Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, conducted the second session of 2026 on the topic “APA Guidelines” on 28th February 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The session was led by Dr. Shalini Ganesh Nayak, Assistant Professor- Senior Scale, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal. The session focused on achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4—Quality Education. Dr. Shalini provided a comprehensive explanation of APA guidelines, including the regulations it covers, the various APA citation styles, document formatting, preparation of tables and figures, in-text citations, and the reference section. The session was both inspiring and informative, and positive feedback was received from participants. A total of 31 participants, including undergraduates and postgraduates, attended the session, and e-certificates were awarded to all attendees.
