REPORT ON OLDAGE HOME VISIT

As part of the Health and Social Welfare Committee of Student Nurses’ Association 2022-23, a visit to Vishranthidhama, an old age home at Adarsha Nagara, Manipal, Udupi district was organized on 11.11.2022 from 4.00 - 6.00 PM. There were 14 elderly inmates (seven each male and female) at the old age home. The students of the college interacted with the elderly followed by an entertainment program with music, action songs, and dance. The inmates were very happy and blessed everyone. Later, fruits were distributed to them. It was a joyous occasion with full of satisfaction that the team could bring some rays of happiness among the elderly.  The program was carried out under the guidance of Dr.Melita Sheilini, faculty advisor, and Mrs.Savitha Prabhu, faculty co-advisor of the committee.
