Pillar II: Exemplary Research and Innovation, in collaboration with the Student Research Forum, Manipal College of Nursing (MCON), MAHE, Manipal, organized the seventh session of the 2026 series on the topic ‘Writing a Research Proposal’ on 28 September 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The resource person for the session was Dr. Melita Sheilini, Associate Professor, Department of Medical-Surgical Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal. The session was aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education. Dr. Sheilini delivered an engaging and impactful presentation on ‘Writing a Research Proposal, clearly outlining the key strategies and essential components of effective research proposal development.

The session was insightful and motivating, and received encouraging feedback from the participants. A total of 19 MSc Nursing students and four PhD scholars attended the session. E-certificates were awarded to all participants.
