Report on Diwali Celebration 2021
Diwali celebration was organised by the Cultural Committee of Student Nurses' Association 2021-22 on 5th November 2021. The formal inauguration of the Diwali celebration was held at 10.00 AM by Dr Judith A Noronha, Dean, MCON by lighting the auspicious lamp. The teaching and non-teaching members of the college and the SNA office bearers also were part of the ceremony.
The cultural program as part of Diwali celebration was organized at 2:30 p.m through Microsoft Teams. Ms Rose Maria Baby, II year BSc nursing was the master of the ceremony for the programme. Dr Baby S Nayak, HOD and Professor, Dept. of Child Health Nursing addressed the gathering and explained the significance of the Diwali celebration. Various cultural performances, including solo and group dance and group songs, were presented by the students. MS Sruthi Jose, Secretary of the Cultural Committee delivered the vote of thanks.
