An in-service education programme was conducted on March 13, 2014 by the MSc Nursing students and Department of Community Health Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing Manipal on Reproductive and child health programme. The session was conducted by Mr. Uppu Praveen PG student of department of Community Health Nursing. The programme included question and answer session, talk on RCH programme, and feedback and Post-test for the participants and was supported by Dr.Sushma Medical Officer CHC Bhramhavara, Mr Shashidhara YN HoD, Department of Community Health Nursing, and Manipal College of Nursing Manipal. The presenter explained RCH programme which included elements of RCH programme, Phases, Role of Junior health assistants and how to fill Mother and Child Health card. At the end of the session Dr. Sushma added few points on recent changes in RCH programme. Fifty people attended the programme which included ANM trainees, junior health assistants, MPH students and other Doctors of Community Health centre Bramhavara.
