Integrating Competency Frameworks in Dental Curricula

Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Manipal; Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangaluru; and Manipal University College Malaysia will host Curriculum Conclave 7.0, a platform for meaningful dialogue on the evolving landscape of dental education. Dental education must continually evolve to prepare competent, future-ready professionals equipped to address the changing oral health needs of communities. The conclave will provide a forum for faculty, educators and administrators to discuss competency-based curricula, innovative assessment strategies, and the integration of AI and digital technologies into dental education.

The conclave aims to promote a uniform, competency-based approach to dental education, empowering future dental professionals to deliver evidence-based, holistic and community-responsive oral healthcare.
