The Department of Nephrology, KMC Mangalore will host the Dr Sudarshan Ballal Oration 2025 on December 9. This year’s oration will be delivered by Shri N. R. Narayana Murthy, Founder, Infosys, on the theme “Emulating a High-Class Professional like Dr Sudarshan Ballal.” The event will be graced by Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE, as the Chief Guest, and Dr Sharat K Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor (Health Sciences), MAHE, as the Guest of Honour. Senior leaders, including Dr Sunil Karanth, Chairman, Critical Care Services, MHEPL; Dr Dilip G. Naik, Pro Vice Chancellor, MAHE, Mangalore Campus; and Dr Anand Venugopal, COO, MAHE, will also be present. The programme will be presided over by Dr H.S. Ballal, Pro Chancellor, MAHE.
