FDP on Blockchain technology inaugurated at Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) Manipal

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), inaugurated its 5-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Blockchain Technology and its applications virtually on Wednesday.
The programme is sponsored by (AICTE-ATAL) 166 participants from across the country participated in the programme.
Dr. Rajkuamr Buyya, Professor at the School of Computing and Informal Sciences Melbourne, Australia, was invited as the chief guest for the inaugural programme.
Speaking about the event Cdr (Dr) Anil Rana, Director, Manipal Institute of Technology, said, “Blockchain is modern and relevant technology. We are glad to inaugurate this programme on Blockchain Technology which is gaining a lot of attention and prominence. This emerging technology has several advantages and is user-friendly. We hope that the programme helps the faculty to enhance their knowledge regarding the application of Blockchain Technology. We thank AICTE-ATAL for their immense contribution to this programme.”
