Vice Chancellor and Registrar of MAHE, Manipal, releases the Theme for the first ever ‘World current Good Manufacturing Practices Day’ (World cGMP Day)

Lt Gen (Dr) M.D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor and Dr P Giridhar Kini, Registrar, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal released the Theme for the maiden ‘World cGMP Day’ on 8th July Friday at Manipal.
Centre for cGMP has initiated the practice of celebrating ‘World cGMP Day’ beginning 10th October 2023. “The countdown has begun for the first-ever ‘World cGMP Day;’ we, at the Centre for cGMP felt that we should come out with an attractive THEME for the maiden ‘World cGMP Day’ ”, said Dr Girish Pai K, Coordinator of the Centre. The first ever ‘World cGMP Day’ theme is “cGMP: TRANSFORMING HEALTHCARE”.
Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen (Dr) M D Venkatesh appreciated and congratulated Dr Girish Pai K, and all the members of the Centre for cGMP for coming out with this noble thought and suggested the way forward to take this event to the next level by collaborating with various Industry bodies. Registrar, Dr P Giridhar Kini advised to propagate this message to recruiters and alumni of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) for better visibility and support.
Dr C Mallikarjuna Rao (Principal, MCOPS), Dr Muddukrishna B S, Dr Girish Thunga, Dr Aravinda Pai, and Dr Vasudev R Pai (Co-coordinators of Centre) were present during the occasion.
