The prestigious Pharma Anveshan 2026 was recently organized by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and hosted by the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). The event served as a distinguished platform for academic exchange and the recognition of innovative and impactful research in the pharmaceutical sciences.

Ms. Sanskruti Shrenik Patil, a research scholar from the Department of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology at MCOPS, pursuing her PhD under the guidance of Dr. Raghu Chandrashekar H, Professor and Head of the Department, was honoured with the Best Poster Presentation Award in the category of Pharmacology and Biotechnology.

Her award-winning research, titled “Rational Design and Functional Characterisation of Nectin-1 Derived Peptidomimetics as Potent Entry Inhibitors of Herpes Simplex Virus Glycoprotein D,” highlights novel antiviral strategies with significant therapeutic potential.

The award was formally conferred by Dr. P. Giridhar Kini, Registrar of MAHE, in the presence of an esteemed gathering, including the Vice President of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), distinguished Central Council members of PCI, and Dr. Srinivas Mutalik, Principal of MCOPS.
