Lady Tata Memorial Trust Junior Research Scholarship for Doctoral Studies Awarded to Ms Mrunal Pradeep Desai

Ms. Mrunal Pradeep Desai, Research Scholar, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, working under the guidance of Dr. Jagadish PC received Junior Research Scholarship for doctoral studies by Lady Tata Memorial Trust, Tata Trusts, Mumbai – India and is the only student selected from MAHE, Manipal Campus in the year 2022.
The Trust offers one-fifth of its income to scholars doing scientific investigations in Indian Universities for scientific research towards alleviation of human suffering from disease and supports 15-16 students per year for fellowship all over India. The selected candidates are awarded Junior Research Scholarship for 2 years and Senior Research Fellowship for 3 years. It is awarded based on academic performance and area of research.
