Dr Shashank Tewari, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, MCOPS, received the Best Oral Presentation Award for his research titled, “Planar Chiral [2.2]Paracyclophanes: Pioneering Green Catalysis”, at Symbiot'24-International Conference organized by the Department of Biotechnology at MIT, Manipal. The topic of his talk was outlining the synthesis and the use of catalysts, as one of the key principles of green chemistry that aims to reduce both the environmental impact and the potential negative health effects of chemicals and chemical synthesis.
