MIT Research Conclave 2026:

The MIT Research Conclave 2026, organised by the Office of the Associate Director (Research & Consultancy), Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, was held on 17 and 18 September 2026, bringing together researchers, industry professionals, faculty and students.

The conclave was inaugurated by Prof. Rajeev Shorey, Director, IIIT Surat, who delivered the keynote address on “The Road to Autonomous Systems: Trends and Emerging Paradigms in Artificial Intelligence.” Dr. Naveen Salins, Director – Research, MAHE, was the Guest of Honour.

The two-day programme featured a panel discussion on university–industry engagement and the AI-Augmented Idea Hack, which received over 80 entries from across India, with 10 teams advancing to the final round.

The valedictory ceremony was graced by Mr. Roshan Unnikrishnan S. of SAP Labs India and Mr. D. Uma Maheshwar of GE Aerospace. Dr. Chandrakala C. B., Director-in-Charge, MIT Manipal, presided over both ceremonies. Awards recognised excellence in research, patents, grants, posters, school performance, stalls and innovative ideas.
