M. Tech Automobile Engineering - Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

PEO1: Apply modern computational, analytical and simulation tools and the latest techniques to address the challenges faced in automobile and related engineering streams

PEO2: Practice professional ethics, effective communication, work in team of multicultural environments, and contribute to improve and sustain the green environment.

PEO3: Get employed as successful graduates in automobile and allied industries, become entrepreneurs and pursue higher studies.

M. Tech Automobile Engineering - Programme Outcomes (PO)

POs essentially indicate what the students can do from subject-wise knowledge acquired by them during the program. The POs define the professional profile of a graduate of PG Engineering Program

PO1: An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems.

PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.

PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program.

Engineering Graduates will be able to

PSO1:   Comprehend the technological advancements in the usage of modern engineering and design tools to model, analyze and design automotive systems and subsystems.

PSO2:   Ability to apply the concepts and principles learned about automotive structures, power trains and electronics to develop practical solutions for the multifaceted problems faced in the domain of automobile engineering.

PSO3:  Ability to associate the learning from the courses related to research ethics, quality and management, to function as an individual or leader in multidisciplinary teams and project implementations.
