July 25, 2025
The Manipal Institute of Technology, MAHE, Manipal has partnered with the University of Surrey, UK, to launch a dual-degree programme focused on sustainable semiconductor technologies. This initiative is part of a strategic UK–India collaboration aimed at bridging the global skills gap in the rapidly growing semiconductor sector.
The programme is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and practical skills for careers in emerging domains such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, clean energy, smart transport, and defence technologies. As part of this collaboration, Dr. Pallavi Mane, Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, visited the University of Surrey on July 2nd to further strengthen institutional ties and explore academic synergies.
