MPH Programme, Department of Health Policy, Prasanna School of Public Health, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal organized a guest lecture on “Gender Theory and Global Public Health” on November 25, 2022.

Dr Shane Kavanagh (Course Director - Master of Public Health, Deakin University, Australia spoke about gender, sex, social norms, gender norms across different cultures, civilizations, and countries across the world; genderwise required health services, various types of health issues that occur in people, biological factors related to health, social factors related to health, physical health, mental health, holistic health; approaches, therapies for making people’s health, lives better – for holistic health and well-being.
