Research Connect: Critical Thinking in Clinical Dentistry

The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology organized a Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program on 10th March 2026 titled “Research Connect: Critical Thinking in Clinical Dentistry.” The program featured Dr. Keerthilatha M. Pai, who currently serves as the Controller of Examinations at Sikkim Manipal University and as a Professor in the Department of Dentistry at the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences, Gangtok, as the resource person.

Dr. Pai delivered insightful sessions for both undergraduate and postgraduate students on the topics “Framing a Research Question” and “Ethics in Research.” Her engaging and thought-provoking lectures effectively explained the principles of critical thinking in research with remarkable clarity and simplicity.

The program was attended by faculty members, postgraduate students, and undergraduate students.
