MCODS Manipal Postgraduate Student Secures 1st Runner-Up Award at ENDOVISTA 2026

The Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Manipal, is proud to congratulate Dr. Tanya Kapur, Postgraduate Student (III Year), for securing the 1st Runner-Up (Second Prize) in the Paper Presentation category at ENDOVISTA 2026, a prestigious national-level scientific event organised by Terna Dental College, Navi Mumbai, from 13th to 15th February 2026.

Dr. Tanya presented her research paper titled “Effect of Different Adhesives on Shear Bond Strength and Microleakage Between Biodentine and Composite Resin – An In Vitro Study.” The study explored the influence of various adhesive systems on the bonding performance between Biodentine and composite resin, providing valuable insights into restorative biomaterials and adhesive dentistry. The work was recognised for its scientific merit, methodological rigor, and clinical relevance in advancing evidence-based restorative dental practice.

The research was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sandya Kini, whose mentorship and support contributed significantly to this achievement. The recognition received at a national platform highlights Dr. Tanya’s commitment to academic excellence and research, while also reflecting the department’s continued emphasis on fostering scientific inquiry and innovation.
