Dr Amita Ranauta, Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Public Health Dentistry visited MCODS Manipal.

Dr Amita Ranauta, Associate Dean( Dental Foundation) and Centre Lead, Centre for Teaching and Innovation, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London and Adjunct Faculty at the Department of Public Health Dentistry along with Dr. Manu Raj Mathur, Professor of Dental Public Health, Queen Mary University of London visited MCODS Manipal.
They had preliminary meetings with the Dean Dr Monica Charlotte Solomon. Later, along with the Dean, Associate Dean Dr Vidya Saraswathi, Dr Ramprasad Vasthare and Dr Shashidhar Acharya, they had a productive discussion on collaborative research engagements, joint symposiums and student mobility opportunities with Queen Mary University of London.
They visited the District health office and were part of a panel discussion with Public health centre medical officers of Udupi and also visited a rural primary health centre at Avarse.
Dr Amitha Ranauta met Dr Karunakar Kotegar, Director, International Affairs, MAHE Manipal during her short visit.
She also met Lt (Gen) Dr M D Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor, MAHE.
