Faculty Chairing Scientific Sessions at IESCON Goa 2025

The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, MCODS Manipal, proudly highlights the academic leadership of its faculty members at the 33rd National Conference of the Indian Endodontic Society (IESCON Goa 2025), where they served as chairpersons for distinguished scientific sessions.

Dr. Vidya Saraswathi M, Professor, chaired a scientific lecture on 2nd November 2025, featuring Dr. Prasanna Neelakantan, who delivered an insightful presentation on “Root Canal Disinfection: The In Vitro–In Vivo Disconnect,” addressing the translational gap between laboratory findings and clinical practice.

Dr. N. Vasudev Ballal, Professor, chaired a key session on 1st November 2025, featuring Prof. Dr. Matthias Zehnder, an internationally acclaimed expert, who presented on “Root Canal Irrigation,” highlighting recent advancements and clinical perspectives in irrigation protocols.

Dr. Raj Kumar Narkedamalli, Senior Lecturer, chaired the Student Scientific Paper and Poster Presentation session on 31st October 2025, fostering an engaging academic environment and encouraging young researchers to present and discuss their work.

The active involvement of the faculty in chairing scientific sessions reflects their commitment to academic leadership, knowledge dissemination, and the advancement of endodontic research.
