MIT, The Overall Champions in MAHE Inter Collegiate Sports & Games 2023-24

MIT, Manipal has emerged as the overall champions in the MAHE Inter Collegiate Sports & Games for the year 2023-24. The championship trophy was presented to Commander (Dr.) Anil Rana, Director of MIT, Manipal, by Dr. H. S. Ballal, Pro Chancellor, and Lt. Gen. (Dr.) M. D. Venkatesh, Vice Chancellor of MAHE, on 22nd May 2024.
Out of 20 colleges under MAHE university, MIT lifted the championship trophy in both the students and faculty categories with a total of 130 points. This victory is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all the participants, showcasing their excellence not only in academics but also in sports.
MIT's student teams excelled in numerous sports, demonstrating outstanding performance in both team and individual events. They achieved significant victories in various competitions, contributing substantially to the overall score. The teaching staff also shone brightly, earning championships in multiple disciplines. Their victories highlight the spirit of participation and competitiveness among the faculty members, further contributing to the institute's overall success. Non-teaching staff members were not left behind, winning in their respective categories and adding to the championship spirit.
