Introducing the HBSF-MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship by Alumni

MIT, MAHE launches HBSF-MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship for B.Tech aspirants, backed by esteemed MIT, MAHE alumnus Mr. Harish Shah (the Harish and Bina Shah Foundation (HBSF)). This scholarship aims to support meritorious students from weaker economic sections across India. 60 students to get support from this scholarship, covering expenses such as hostel accommodation, mess facilities, and tuition fees annually.
Mr Harish Shah, an Alumnus of MIT 1980 batch, founded ‘Signet' in 1986, a company which today stands as India’s leading pharmaceutical raw materials business with global outreach and pioneering product offerings. The eligibility criteria for the students were:
- Meritorious students from weaker economic sections across India.
- Candidates who have completed standard 8–12 in any State/Central Government School/PU Colleges within India.
- Those who have scored 85% or more marks in standard 12 board examinations with Physics, Mathematics, and any optional paper as subjects.
- Students with a family income of less than INR 8 lakhs per annum.
- Candidates with an All India Rank in the MAHE entrance test between 1–10,000.
