International Rover Challenge 2023

Team Mars Rover Manipal has done it again !
The Mars Rover Manipal team was placed III overall at the International Rover Challenge 2023, held from January 28th to January 31st, 2023, at Bangalore.
The students from this team had sacrificed their vacation and worked hard for getting their rover ready for the challenge.
The Space Robotics Society organised this competition which, challenges university students to design and operate an astronaut-assistive Mars Rover for future exploration missions. 36-Teams participated in the competition. Among them were many prestigious Indian and Foreign Institutes.
The position tally was as follows : First Position - AGH University of Science and Technology, Poland.
Second Position : VIT Vellore, Third : MRM – MIT Manipal
Other major institutes were : IIT Bombay – 05th ; Thapar Institute – 06th ; BITS Pliani – 13th ; IIT Madras – 14th; IIT Roorkee – 18th ; IIT Guwahati – 17th
