Team "Cryptonite", MIT Manipal emerged as the victorious team at the Grand Finale of Smart India Hackathon 2023 - Software Edition held at the Noida Nodal Center.
Amidst an intense 36-hour hackathon challenge presented by "PhishTrap: AI-Powered Anti-Phishing Browser Extension & App," hosted by the National Technical Research Organization (NTRO), New Delhi, the team showcased unparalleled innovation and dedication. The solution, comprising four distinct modules, offers real-time defense against phishing attacks, setting a new benchmark in the competition. Competing against six other formidable teams, "Cryptonite" stood out and secured the prestigious first prize.
The exceptional team includes: Daksh Dadhania, B.Tech (IT); Siddharth Mittal B.Tech (IT); Shreyansh Sankrit, B.Tech CCE; Sriyans Ketavarapu B.Tech (IT); Kumud Rathore, B.Tech (CSAI); Dhruthi K- B.Tech (CSE) and mentor: Prof. Nisha Shetty, Dept. of ICT. Team member received cash prize of Rs. 1 Lak and certificate.
