Located at Manipal Institute of Communication, MAHE’s General Library is a treasure trove of exciting books for every book lover out there. It is a place to immerse yourself in the world of pure, uninterrupted reading, learning, reflection, and exploration.

The General Library was established in 2007 at the behest of MIC’s founding director, Dr. M.V. Kamath. It is stocked with fiction and nonfiction books on every topic including children's literature, comics, science and technology, self-help, mysteries, mythology, art, culture, history, philosophy, classic novels, education, poetry, biographies, Indology, religion, spirituality, among others in English, Kannada and a few other regional languages. The collection also includes books donated by generous patrons from MAHE and beyond.

Having been serving MAHE’s staff and their children for the past 15 years, the General Library has now added a vast number of new titles to its existing collection of books. So, drop in for a visit and experience the joys of simple, pleasurable reading.
