One-day Symposium on Nanoscience and Technology

On 9th March 2012, CAMP organised a one-day symposium on Nanoscience and Technology. This symposium was held as a part of the various activities of the department with nanoscience and technology as the thrust area of focus in its research and academic pursuits. The symposium, with the illuminating talks by experts in the field, saw the promulgation of the latest information on the spearhead of nanoscience and technology.
The speakers were:

2. Prof. S.A.Shivashankar from IISc. Bangalore on “Metalorganic Routes to Nanomaterials and Nanostructures”
3. Dr.ChittaranjanPatra from IICT, Hyderabad on “Biomedical Application of Nanotechnology for Cancer Therapeutics and Angiogenesis”
4. Dr.AdityaDharmadhikari from TIFR Mumbai on “Carbon Nanotubes: A Vital Agent for Microbubbles Dendrites and Crystal Growth”
5. Dr. Suresh D. Kulkarni from CAMP, Manipal Academy of Higher Education on “Nanoscience: Applications, Education and Career Opportunities”
