Overview

The PhD course is offered by the Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.

 

The curriculum includes:

  • Research methodology
  • Numerical methods, Quantum mechanics and instrumentation
  • Special paper (Nonlinear Optics, Nanoscience and Biophysics).

Assessment

  • 65% marks will be required for successful completion.
  • Monthly progress report.
  • Seminars
  • Publications
  • Thesis

 

After successful completion of the course students can opt for career in research and development institutes.
