Ethnic Day Celebrations at MIC

Manipal Institute of Communication celebrated Ethnic Day on October 11, 2025, with a vibrant and dynamic pageant. The event commenced with the Mister and Miss MIC contest, where participants graced the ramp in the first round, showcasing their traditional attire with elegance and confidence. The second round featured a lively dance segment, allowing contestants to express their personality and charm.
Finalists then faced a round of questions posed by the judges, Professors Dr. Padmakumar and Ms. Shruthi Shetty, who evaluated their spontaneity and presence of mind. Manu Gautham Dileep and Vibha Venkatesan from MAMC 2 were crowned Mister and Miss MIC 2025, respectively.
The event was presided over by Dr. Shubha HS, the director of Manipal Institute of Communication, and coordinated by Mr. C. Manikandan and Ms. Kavita Nagasampige, the faculty coordinators.
