Dr. Vikranth N. Patil, an alumnus of MCHP, MAHE, Manipal, who completed his Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP) in 2006 and Master of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP) in 2008, delivered a series of alumni sessions on 29th October 2025, 5th November 2025, and 12th November 2025.
Dr. Vikranth N. Patil is currently serving as the Proprietor, Chief Audiologist, and Speech Pathologist at Ear Science Centre, Hubli. The three alumni sessions were conducted online via MS Teams from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM on all three days.
A total of 81 to 106 participants, comprising alumni, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and faculty members, attended the sessions across the three days. Dr. Vikranth N. Patil shared his clinical expertise and professional insights on the following topics:
- Real-Ear Measures in Hearing Aid Programming
- Patient-Centered Care
- Private Practice and Entrepreneurship in Audiology
The sessions were interactive and provided valuable practical knowledge, helping students and alumni gain insight into evidence-based clinical practice and professional development in audiology.
The alumni activity was coordinated and facilitated by Dr. Sheela S., Alumni Coordinator, and Dr. Usha Devadas, Head of the Department, who expressed their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Vikranth N.
