AeroMIT, the official aeromodelling and aerial robotics team of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has recently participated in its flagship competition, SAE AeroDesign West 2022. The Team achieved an overall World Rank 2 in the micro class category.
This competition was organized by SAE International, sponsored by the prestigious Lockheed Martin, an American Corporation specializing in Aerospace, military, and defense.

The team finished 1st in the Design Report, 2nd in the Oral Presentation held in a virtual model, 2nd in the Mission Performance (Physical Round) and won an additional award for being the only team with the fastest 100-meter sprint, with overall World No. 2 position among several international competing teams.
