A Technical talk was organized by the Department of Information and communication technology in association with IBM on November 18th , 2021, from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
Dr. Mani Madhukar, Program Manager, Global University Programs, IBM Research, Bangalore covered the principles and importance of blockchain technology. He discussed about how the blockchain stores encrypted data blocks and connects them to form a chronological single-source-of-truth for the information. Also emphasized on the inherent security features of blockchain, as well as its public ledger, that make an excellent option for any industry. More than 100 students have benefited from this talk. Mrs. Diana Olivia, faculty, department of I&CT has welcomed the gathering. Dr. Raghavendra Ganiga faculty department of I & CT has introduced the speaker and proposed a vote of thanks. The technical talk was coordinated by Mrs. Diana Olivia and Dr. Raghavendra Ganiga (SPOC).
