Department of Information and Communication Technology organized an online Technical Talk on "Distributed Systems: How to prepare for upcoming opportunities in the Software Development world" on 25-11-2021 from 3PM to 4PM on Microsoft Teams. Resource person was Mr. Akshat Tuslani, Associate Software Engineer at Cardinal Health, India & an Alumnus, B.Tech. CCE (2017-2021). The speaker has discussed topics such as adapter patterns, serving patterns, Event driven FAAS, Load balanced replica, Batch computation patterns, Working queue systems. The speaker also highlighted differences between cloud and distributed systems and their practical usages.
Prof. Diana Olivia welcomed the participants. Dr. Manjula Belavagi introduced the speaker. Dr. Krishna Prakasha delivered vote of thanks. Dr. Preetham Kumar, Deputy Registrar - Academics(Technical) and Dr. Smitha N Pai, HoD, graced the occasion. Large number of participants were actively involved in the session from host and neighboring institutions and got the benefit of the same.
