·  The course has been designed with the following objectives:

§  To produce clinicians who can take care of the growing need of PFDs in the community through a scientific, evidence based & skill transfer oriented program.

§  To train OBGYN's in Urogynecological patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, & effective for the evaluation, treatment, & prevention of pelvic floor disorders.

§  To improve knowledge, practice, teaching & research in Urogynecology.

§  To improve knowledge, practice, teaching & research in Urogynecology.

  Focus: Clinical training, Surgical skill transfer, Academic advancement, and Research

  Career Prospectus: The program is designed to create trained Urogynecology Fellows to cater the huge demand of specialized care in this field in India as well as Southeast Asia. The program aims at training Gynecologists in Urogynecology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery to enable them to provide comprehensive services even outside the purview of specialized centres.
