As rightly quoted by B. B. King “The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”
It was the need of the hour for the Internal Audit team to form a supportive and well – defined team of Auditors for the MAHE – Bengaluru Campus. We had very cooperative and a well – defined team of representatives from every department of MAHE’s off Campus at Bengaluru who eagerly attended the session and contributed to the discussions and presentation.
Director Quality Dr. Christopher Sudhakar who is an ardent teacher and a pride of quality assurance cell and who have been wholeheartedly working for ensuring Quality standards for Manipal Academy of Higher Education rendered an excellent session on ISO certification training to all the attendees. MAHE’s off campus at Bengaluru, is at its very niche stage and is aiming to ensure ISO standard for Institutions/Departments in the new campus. Hence this much awaited session promoted an excellent room for ensuring that all internal representatives have adequate knowledge about ISO standards. The internal team have been trying to develop Quality Culture by conducting regular meetings and trainings to the coordinators.
The session was very enriching and interactive, as the Director encouraged representatives to provide inputs and hands – on training was provided for certain activities. The most difficult elements was explained in the power point presentation in a way that was easy for one to remember by adding some pictures of the most favourite and popular spices of India to understand and remember the words.
Having said this, we have always received guidance from the Directors on our quality journey.
