MIV Annual Day Celebration & Alumni Meet

The Manipal Institute of Virology (MIV) successfully hosted its Annual Day Celebration & Alumni Meet 2025 on February 26th at the Dr. TMA Pai Auditorium.

​The event was graced by distinguished guests, including the Chief Guest, Dr. Naveen Kumar, Director, ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune, and  Lt Gen Dr. M D Venkatesh (Vice-Chancellor, MAHE) and Dr. P Giridhar Kini (Registrar, MAHE).

​The day featured a high-impact symposium on 'Recent Updates on Virus Research,' with technical sessions chaired by Dr. Naveen Kumar. Discussions covered crucial advancements in antiviral drug development, immunotherapeutics for HIV, and the vital role of the One Health approach in combating zoonotic diseases.
