CURRENT ACADEMIC ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Dr Poornima Baliga B, is currently the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Health Sciences), Manipal University.
She has served the institution in various academic positions. She was Deputy Director - Alumni Affairs, Manipal University (Mangalore Campus) and Faculty Advisor for the student council at KMC, Mangalore. She has also served as Dean of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal.
She has 34 research publications in journals of national and International repute. She has attended and presented scientific papers in many National and International Conferences, CME and Workshops including various teaching learning workshops. She has received fellowships from the University of Edinburgh, UK and the University of Tel Aviv, Israel during her career.
