AREAS OF INTEREST, EXPERTISE AND RESEARCH
Area of Expertise
Analytical and Bio-analytical method development and validation, Pre-clinical pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical materials science by co-amorphous and co-crystal technology.
Professional Affiliations & Contributions
Mr. Swapnil Dengale conducts research on preclinical pharmacokinetics. It includes in-vivo, ex-vivo studies investigating drug metabolism and disposition using liver microsomes, single pass perfusion, ligated loop technique, inverted gut sac method etc. He also investigated drug-drug and drug-nutraceutical interaction pre-clinically. He also has keen research interest in improving the bioavailability of poor water soluble drugs (BCS-II) using Pharmaceutical Materials Science approach. It includes preparation of Co-amorphous and Co-crystalline phases and solid state characterization thereof.
Mr. Swapnil’s research experience is evident by his publication credentials which include reputed peer review journal titles like Drug Delivery, European Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics, Journal of Pharmaceutical Innovation etc. He is also referee for reputed journals like Molecular Pharmaceutics, Journal of Molecular Structures, Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy, Drug Design Development and Therapy and BMC research Notes.
