Prof. R Venkat at Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project

Prof. R Venkat, Professor of Practice at Manipal Law School, Bengaluru was invited to deliver a lecture on construction law by the Karnataka State Highways Improvement Project (KSHIP), a unit of PWD of Karnataka commissioned to manage projects financed by World Bank and Asian Development Bank.

Prof. R Venkat gave an overview of construction law, liner project challenges, why ADR is preferred dispute resolution for construction/infrastructure projects and emphasised the need to upskill in those techno-legal areas.
