INDIAN DIGITAL PERSONAL DATA LAWS GUEST LECTURE SERIES

We are delighted to have concluded the Guest Lecture Series on Indian Digital Personal Data Laws at Manipal Law School, Bengaluru Campus, on the theme “Implementing DPDP and its practical challenges”.

The session was an engaging hands-on workshop and case study-based learning experience, made even more insightful by the presence of Ms. Deepti Bhatia, Senior Partner at AMLegal, Senior Banker (Ex- HSBC, Ex- Standard Chartered), and Chair, IAPP New Delhi Chapter.

Over the course of the session, participants explored the practical dimensions of India’s evolving data protection landscape, with meaningful discussions on implementation challenges, compliance considerations, and the real-world impact of the DPDP framework.

This initiative was organised by the MLS Centre on AI & Privacy Laws and reflected the spirit of interdisciplinary learning, critical inquiry, and emerging legal scholarship in the field of privacy and technology law.
