Mr. Pavan V, Assistant Professor of Law, Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, MAHE- Bengaluru presented a paper titled “The Interplay between Precautionary Principle and Environmental Sustainability in Indian Jurisprudence” along with his coauthor Dr. Nagendra S at the 5th International Conference on Advancing Knowledge from Multidisciplinary Perspectives in Education, Engineering & Technology (ICAKMPET-2025), organized by Bohol Island State University, Cebu, Philippines on 24th-25th of January 2025.

In the research paper, the framework developed provides a comprehensive understanding of how the Precautionary Principle can foster environmental sustainability in India through a judicial lens. The paper demonstrates that Indian jurisprudence, shaped by judicial interpretations, plays a vital role in embedding environmental protection within the larger context of sustainable development.

Mr. Pavan & Dr Nagendra participated in International Mobility Exchange program at Cebu Technological University as well.
