Dr. Sreeparna Chattopadhyay, attended the Medical Anthropology in Europe Conference at the University of Vienna on Redefinitions of Health and Well-Being. She spoke in a roundtable on Reproductive Justice and co-authored a panel paper on Care Ethics, which has been accepted for publication in an edited volume with Vernon Press.

The paper on reproductive justice, originally developed by African American feminists in the U.S., argued that the concept needs rethinking in contexts like India, where structurally marginalised groups form the majority and face compounded challenges of caste, class, religion, gender, and climate crisis.
