Manipal Law School was represented at the closing conference of the Future Proofing Human Rights project, “Thicker Notions of Human Rights Accountabilities,” held from 19th to 22nd November 2025 at Hoek 38, Brussels, Belgium.
Our faculty member, Professor Dr. Ella Gorian, delivered a thought-provoking presentation titled “Big Tech and Human Rights: Rethinking Accountability.” Her paper explored emerging trends in the corporate responsibility of Big Tech companies in the age of Artificial Intelligence, highlighting the evolving challenges and the need for stronger human rights-based frameworks.
